Registered Manager

Standby Healthcare are currently working in partnership with one of our clients to recruit a dedicated Registered Manager to work within a 3-bed residential home. This residential service is Ofsted regulated and purposely built within the last 18 months. Currently sitting on the site of a specialist school, this house is for young people with learning disabilities and currently operating on a 2:1 basis. Set within 20 acres of countryside, this is a scenic placement that provides many therapeutic opportunities for young people. The service is located between the Roman town of Ribchester and the bustling City of Preston, providing plenty of opportunities for activities with service users.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Manager to work alongside the senior management team. As part of this role, you will lead a team of team leaders and support workers, ensuring that a high standard of support is met and that all documentation is done to a high standard. In this role, you will strive for regulatory success, utilising a strong leadership style.

A benefit of the service being on the site of a specialist school, is that there are experienced Registered Managers on site, to aid in the transition and provide support where necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Manager who has recently stepped up to advance their career and help make a difference in the lives of young people.

The successful candidate will have:

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role

• Level 5 qualification in Children's Leadership and Management
