Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in the Bishop Auckland, Crook and Shildon area.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident, residing within the local area. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship.


You will need to apply:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in the UK support sector
  • Completed or working towards completing a NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK
  • Ability to complete or provide a DBS – This must also be on the Update service
  • Experience caring for those with complex needs (Preferred)
  • UK Driver’s License (Preferred)

About the Service

Our client delivers a person-centred approach to promote independence, personal development, and confidence for young people. Successful applicants will have experience working with complex needs and be confident working on a 1-to-1 basis, however this may change to a higher ratio depending on needs.

The services are based within the north East and willingness to travel is a real bonus as we also have similar packages.
