Standby Healthcare are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join an established provider of children's residential services with a passion for helping young people reach their full potential this role is to be based in a new 3-bed EBD home based.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting staff in delivering exceptional care to our young people, leading from the front in a kind, thoughtful and supportive way.
- Developing and implementing placement plans, having high aspirations for our young people.
- Overseeing policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Managing daily operations to maintain a safe, welcoming, homely and loving environment for our young people.
- Deputising for the Deputy Manager in their absence, Supporting all regulatory activities and facilitation of Regulation 44 visits, Meeting commissioners and stakeholders and OFSTED inspections.
The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:
- MUST have experience in Residential Children’s Social Care with a minimum of two years’ experience.
- Leadership and supervision experience is essential.
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ diploma in Residential Childcare/Health and Social Care Children’s Workforce (Or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- A clear DBS and positive references from all companies where you have worked with children or vulnerable adults.
- UK resident and the right to work in the UK
