Senior Healthcare Assistant

*£11-£14 per hour*

Standby Healthcare are recruiting for Senior Healthcare Assistants to work within the care home of one of our many clients. This client is a large sized care home with a good CQC rating and a score of 9.7 on carehomes.co.uk. The service has specialist care categories of Alzheimer’s, Epilepsy, Brain injury, Parkinson’s, and Mental Health. They also support Dementia and old age service users. Experience in these areas would be ideal, but is not essential. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in these categories, have at least 6-months experience as a Senior Carer, hold an NVQ level 3 in health and social care and have access to a car and hold a UK Driver’s License. We have clients across the Sunderland area so willingness to travel is a real bonus!

What you need to have to apply:

• Minimum 6 months experience in the UK healthcare sector

• Ability to complete or provide a DBS

• Relevant experience or NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and Meds Trained up to a minimum level 3
