Senior Healthcare Assistant

Due to an increase in demand from many of our clients across all the North East, Standby Healthcare is looking to expand and recruit experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our thriving team of agency staff to support care settings and services. We have regular day and night shifts available, a willingness to travel here is preferred. Temp-to-perm positions are available.
Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident, residing within the local area. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship.
You will need to apply:
• Minimum 6 months experience in the UK healthcare sector in a senior healthcare assistant role
• NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and Meds Training
• UK resident and the right to work in the UK
• Ability to complete or provide a DBS - This must be on the online update service

About our services:
We work with numerous services all over the North East region, these services range small to large, offering Dementia, Learning Disability, Mental Health, Physical Disability, and Respite care. Previous experience in these areas would be ideal but is not essential. If you would prefer to work in one service whilst having the benefits of our agency, please apply and we can discuss the options with you over the phone!
We are looking for committed candidates that are willing and able to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have a transferrable DBS and have experience working within care settings.
